Almost perfect

"I am usually size 20-22. My chest measures about 121cms.   I have a big tummy and wide hips and big flat bum!!  My waist is about 117cms.   My hips are about 135-140cms. I purchased smoothing shorts in 3XL and 4XL. Could not decide what size to select. Both fit. Next order I would probably go with 3XL. I purchased to wear as under pants under dresses. Love the length on me. Almost to my knees. They dont ride up my legs. So impressed. On each day of first wear of each size I was doing housework, erands/in and out car, and gardening so quite active. Most brands that I have purchased do ride up. Love the feel of the fabric. So soft and so comfy. Love the high waist. Only criticism there is the seam of the wide band felt a little bit obvious and didnt feel like it sat in the right position on my body, plus being super sensitive to things like a bra tag annoys the crap out of me, it bugged me a little. smaller waistbands are more comfy to me. Ultimately the only thing that would seriously prevent me from buying again is there is no gusset in the crotch, so I was regularly pulling at the back of shorts to remove seam from you know where, and wriggling about to reposition the seam from the other you know where. Sorry if too much info, but I like to wear as underwear without a pair of knickers underneath. One of the great benefits of undershorts as underwear is no wedgies. Please Please Please Bamboo Island, can you bring out a pair of smoothing shorts with a gusset. Please. I have tried so many underwear undershorts and other than no gusset there are bloody good. Pretty Please."

Almost amazing

"These are so nearly the perfect fit I’ve been searching for forever…I wish they were just 1-2cm longer and as several others have noted, less tight in the waist band. I ordered a large (I’m usually a size 12) but feel like the waistband is just a tad too snug compared to the legs. If they made the waistband less snug, I’d actually size down to the medium (which would be a better fit for me everywhere else). It’s actually very hard to find knee-length garments like these - usually mid-thigh or capri which I dislike. This is the closest I’ve found and the material is lovely!"
